Ashok Sahil was born in 1955 in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. He grew into a respected Urdu poet known for his emotional ghazals, poignant nazms, and impactful short couplets. He wrote in multiple languages: Urdu, Hindi, and English, bringing a rich, inclusive voice to his work.
His poetic pieces, featuring both depth and brevity, were widely appreciated on literary platforms. Tragically, after years of battling kidney-related health issues, he passed away on 24 August 2020 in a Meerut hospital at the age of 64.
